My name is Preston Thompson and I was born on November 13, 1978 in Baton Rouge, LA. In the summer of 2002 I married Natalie Nola, and in April of 2004 she gave birth to my first child, a beautiful baby boy named Daniel. In August of 2006 we welcomed our little girl into the world, Anna.  Our newest addition, Nicholas, was born in June of 2009.  We have been so blessed!

I was raised by parents who attend church and was brought on a regular basis. Although I was attending church, I was dead to the things of the Spirit. I was living in the world and sought no holy thing. In the summer of 1994, a close friend of mine invited me to attend a youth rally. It was at this rally that the Lord began His work of regeneration. Throughout that year, I was under conviction of the Holy Spirit. During that summer, I attended Senior Camp at Woodlawn Baptist Church. It was there that I bowed to Jesus Christ, acknowledged His Lordship over me, repented of sin, placed my faith and trust in the finished work of the cross, and He made me a new creature.

Approximately two years later, I realized through disciplined study of the Word of God, by the witness of
the Holy Spirit within me, and the observations of others as I exercised my gifts in the body of Christ, that God had indeed called me to preach the gospel. I surrendered to that call and continue to serve Christ and His people.

It is my sole desire to serve Him, fulfilling the ministry that I have received from Him, using my spiritual gifts to equip and edify the body of Christ to do the work of evangelism and missions, thus fulfilling the Great Commission.
