If you’ve visited Riverdale lately, you know that the sanctuary is FULL on Sunday mornings.  Praise the Lord!  We are in the process of building a new sanctuary that will include education space for the school, as well as for the church.  The Lord has given us the “go ahead” on this project and we are so excited!

One Time Donations

• Give a monetary gift of your choice that will be placed in the New Building Fund.

Points Program

• This is a plan to pay off $500,000 in loans today within 5 years.  Anyone, even children, can participate in this plan because the minimum commitment is currently $1.04 per month.  One “point” represents a maximum of $1.04 per month for 5 years.

• Total Building Points Needed:  10,000 per month

1 point = $1.04 per month       10 points = $10.40 per month   
100 points = $104 per month

• Choose your level of points.  You can have the funds automatically withdrawn or make the payment in person or pay by mail each month.  You can cancel at any time.  The point value should go down in time with other fundraising efforts.  The point value will never go up.  Every point counts. Score some points!

Memorial Gifts Ÿ  Honor Gifts

• Give a one time donation in memory or in honor of a loved one.  We will have “Memory Bricks” that you can purchase at a later time.  We are still working out the logistics of this.

Employee Matching Program

• Many companies offer an employee benefit of matching contributions to a non-profit organization. These company programs match a donation from you or your spouse and increase the impact of your gift. Many times, companies also match gifts from retirees.  If your employer matches your monthly tithe (that goes into the General Fund), the contribution from your employer will be deposited into the New Building Fund.
  

“Let Me Get That” Campaign

• Have you ever gone to lunch or coffee with someone and when the ticket came you both said “let me get that?”  Here’s what we’re proposing…whoever does not get the check, put the amount that you would have spent on lunch, dinner, coffee, etc. in the New Building Fund.  This is a fun way to contribute to the new building.

You can now give online!  If you'd prefer, you can mail donations to the church office.  We will send you a report of your donation for your records.

If you make an online donation for the building fund, please type "New Building Fund" in the space that says "Payment For."

If you mail in a check, please write "New Building Fund" in the memo.
